Berkeley Community  Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1960
for the purpose of serving th financial needs of employees of the
Berkeley County School District and their immediate families.
Since it's original charter, the credit union has expanded its field
of membership to include anyone that lives, works worships or
attends school in Berkeley County.

Berkeley Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit
financial cooperative, owned by its members and governed by a
seven member board of directors elected by the membership.
Our primary mission is to promote systematic savings by offering
competitive rates and various investment plans while proving
loan products and services that meet the credit needs of our
members.

The community charter has allowed us to extend membership to
all persons who live, work, worship or attend school in Berkeley
County along with businesses and other legal entities located
with the county.

We continue to be excited about the potential opportunities the
community charter has provided us to extend our services to ALL
communities in Berkeley County.
